Maths Magic Tricks has a lot of fun involved in it. There are so many interesting combinations of various math magic tricks with numbers that you get lost in its love, once you fall for it. Here is one such interesting combo which leads you back to where you started from.
Steps involved in Maths Magic Trick
Concentrate on any number. Now, add five to the number. After this, multiply the number by two. In the third step, divide this number by two and then subtract five from the current number. Voila! You have again come back to the same number where you started from.
Let us have a couple of examples to prove its authenticity. Now why two examples are needed for this Maths Magic Trick? It is for a very simple reason to say that, you can try with an odd number as well as an even number.
We will consider the odd number ‘seven’ to try it out. Five added to seven is twelve. Now, when twelve is multiplied by two, we get 24. In the next step, 24 is divided by two. The quotient is twelve. And finally when five is subtracted from twelve, you come back to the original number seven where you started from.
Now, we will think about an even number ‘eight’ to try it out. Five added to eight is thirteen. Now, when thirteen is multiplied by two, we get 26. In the next step, 26 is divided by two. The quotient is thirteen. And finally when five is subtracted from thirteen, you come back to the original number eight where you started from.
Isn’t Maths Magic Trick a fun
Well, there is logic to take to the summit and bring you back. Observe the steps. Here one number is multiplied by two and in the next step; the same is divided by two. In this sense, the result remains unchanged. The same is for adding and subtracting five.

An interesting post. These tricks are good enough to fool friends and become a dude in front of them.

Maths can really prove to be tricky..It needs a lot of understanding..
what’s the trick here, you are just reversing the process. i.e. (7+5)*2 =24 and then 24/2 – 5 =7
